Andree Alana Johnston was born with a spirit of color and creativity. She naturally gravitated to different things, which led her to the path of art and interior design. She grew up in Vancouver, B.C., where there was a more modern slant on design and art. She resided near many great artists, including Roy Henry Vickers, Paul Yugarta, Bobbie Burgers, Ross Penhall, and others. She was fortunate to purchase from these artists as they were starting. One once told her, "Real art is a beautiful way to express yourself.” This helped her launch her creativity and her love of art. This stayed with her always and sometime later, Andree created:

INTERIOR DESIGNED ART . COM

Andree works with acrylic, pastel, and inks. She always seeks new ways to express her creativity and create meaning in her paintings.

It was upon moving to Boston in 1999 that Andree discovered so many wonderful art galleries on Newbury Street. She decided to take art lessons, and with no formal training, she watched and listened and fell in love with the art of color, design, and painting. She loves to study artists and loves to learn more about the visual world.

Andree has been on a journey of recovery from childhood sexual abuse and has spent most of her life coming to peace with it. Art has been a significant modality for her to express her deepest desires and to create beauty and healing. She is constantly evolving and reshaping her world through art.

She’d like to see more colorful art in children’s rooms especially those with autism.

**A percentage of proceeds from paintings sold will be donated to foundations such as Tim Tiebow Foundation, Troy Brewer Ministries, and others that rescue children from sexual exploitation.

I thank them and all who bring hope to those who cannot protect themselves. May God Bless these hero’s always.

THANK YOU FOR VISITING!
